The designs are laser engraved into the wood and are not a decal or paint that can chip off. Care Instructions: HAND WASH ONLY. Use lukewarm water and mild soap. Dry immediately. Do not soak for extended periods of time. It is best to oil your item regularly with butcherblock oil to preserve the wood and prevent drying/cracking.
